Improved yarrow with higher essential oil content and better flower production. Prefered variety for commercial production as it is known as a high yield variety for medicinal use. Therefore, this is the Yarrow preferred by those who use yarrow medicinally.
The flowers hold stronger medicinal properties than the leaves. Can be used to treat colds, fevers and to improve digestion and circulation.
In addition, the leaves can be chewed and rubbed on the body to stop bleeding, i.e. close up wounds and keep them from inflaming.
Flowers can be used in flower arrangements and also be dried.
Plant parts can be burnt in order to repell mosquitoes. The growing plant repels beetles, ants and flies.
